The Boschetti Family Vineyard is located in the world-famous Russian River AVA. The Boschetti Family are 4th generation grape-growers in the Russian River Valley and is currently owned and managed by Pete & Carole Boschetti, whom Turks Head Wines is privileged to partner with, as the sole purchaser of the Boschetti family’s estate Merlot.
Russian River Merlot
While Pinot Noir is undoubtedly king in the Russian River, those same attributes can also be found in other varieties grown within this region. Boschetti’s Merlot grapes were planted over 40 years ago and are certified sustainable & dry-farmed. These grapes thrive in rich alluvial soil with abundant sunshine and evening fog from the Pacific Ocean. The lack of irrigation further concentrates the grapes and adds depth of layered flavors.
